Maria Fairelough
My name is María Fairelough. I was born in Peru and am a descendant of a Jamaican family. I have lived in the United States for 48 years, during which I have obtained American citizenship and experienced both personal and professional challenges and accomplishments. These experiences include raising my two children, embracing motherhood, and achieving academic excellence.
Through dedication, perseverance, and the opportunities available in the United States, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, followed by a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Public Administration, and ultimately, a Doctorate in International Administration.
Additionally, I obtained a certification from the International Fashion Institute of New York and hold a certification in Human Rights from the United Nations.
Excellence is one of the core values that I prioritize in all my endeavors.
